Hello and a warm welcome to hypnotherapy4life, providing hypnotherapy in Kent, Dartford and London.  Some of you reading this may be skeptical of hypnotherapy, after all, television and stage shows tend to give hypnosis a bad reputation.  Hypnosis is a real, proven phenomenon and Hypnotherapy is completely different to the television and stage hypnosis you may have seen or heard about.  Hypnotherapy is all about helping people to overcome problems and improve areas of their lives.  It is a perfectly safe, extremely relaxing and enjoyable state to be in.

I am sure you have heard about many self help books or hypnotic CD's out there, designed to bring about positive changes in your life.  Although these can be beneficial, they are designed for the mass market and so cannot focus on your particular problem.  Hypnotherapy combines conventional theraputic and counselling techniques with hypnosis, meaning that your session is based completely around you, your experiences, your issues and your goals and tagets.  As such, hypnotherapy will usually be much more effective than reading a self help book or listening to a hypnotic CD or download.
